14th February 2010: Mike Hodges from Wirral caught two rainbow trout exceeding 4lb each using a buzzer.

27/2/10 From John Corkhill via the feedback form: Fished between 2-00 pm and 5-00 pm, had 5 rainbow including a 6lb fish on a
lime green fritz. All returned.
Mike Hodges from Wirral caught these two rainbow on 1st March 2010. The
largest was 7lb 9oz and the smaller was 5lb. See photo gallery for larger
pictures.
Photo attached of the rainbow I caught on Wednesday, another fella fishing kindly weighed it on his
hand held scales at 4 1/2 pound. It took a hare's ear style fly on the drop, was fishing intermediate line
and whilst waiting for the fly to sink the line tightened up on me. Richard Hughes.
7th March, D Gilbert of Colwyn Bay caught this 10.5lb rainbow. Larger pic in photo gallery.
1st May, D Gilbert of Colwyn Bay caught this 7,7lb rainbow.
8lbs 1oz fish I caught today (3 June) details are caught on a size 16 black buzzer fished on a floating line and a 5lb
leader. The fish fought extremely well and took over 10 minutes to subdue after a series of 30 yard runs. This fish
was in superb condition and was fully tailed and in top condition. thanks Martin Craddock. Larger pic in gallery.
Dave Gilbert and Clive Gilbert, on 29th September 2010 had 2x6lb , 2x2lb and a size 9 shoe in the pic to
